Moist Apple Pound cake Recipe

A soft and cozy apple cinnamon pie made with simple ingredients and warm spices. You can also make it with pears for a lighter flavor, and during summer it’s delicious topped with fresh berries. Easy to prepare, full of tender fruit and rich buttery taste—perfect for any season.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 sticks of butter (1 cup), softened
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 medium apples
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts

Instructions:

All ingredients should be at room temperature

  • 1. Cream Sugar and Butter: In a mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy.
  • 2. Add Eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time, continuing to mix until well combined.
  • 3. Incorporate Flour and Baking Powder: Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until the batter is smooth.
  • 4. Prepare the Pie Pan: Pour the batter into a prepared pie pan lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal.
  • 5. Prepare the Filling: Dice the apples into small cubes. In a separate bowl, toss the apple cubes with vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Optionally, add chopped walnuts or pecans for extra texture and flavor.
  • 6. Add Filling to Batter: Gently fold the apple mixture into the batter, pressing it down into the batter slightly.
  • 7. Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Baking times may vary depending on your oven.
