Apple Cinnamon Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
– 1 cup sugar
– 2 sticks of butter (1 cup), softened
– 2 cups flour
– 4 eggs
– 1 tablespoon baking powder
– 2 medium apples
– 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
– 4 tablespoons cinnamon
– 1 cup of chopped walnuts
Instructions:
All ingredients should be at room temperature
1. Cream Sugar and Butter: In a mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy.
2. Add Eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time, continuing to mix until well combined.
3. Incorporate Flour and Baking Powder: Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until the batter is smooth.
4. Prepare the Pie Pan: Pour the batter into a prepared pie pan lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal.
5. Prepare the Filling: Dice the apples into small cubes. In a separate bowl, toss the apple cubes with vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Optionally, add chopped walnuts or pecans for extra texture and flavor.
6. Add Filling to Batter: Gently fold the apple mixture into the batter, pressing it down into the batter slightly.
