Walnuts, caramel Dolce de leche cookies
Dulce de Leche & Walnut Filled Cookies Ingredients (12 cookies)
- 1 stick (113g) butter, softened
- ½ cup (100g) brown sugar
- ¼ cup (50g) white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups (180g) flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup (120g) dulce de leche
- 1 cup (120g) walnuts, chopped
(Double Batch, Freezer-Friendly) Ingredients (24 cookies)
- 2 sticks (226g) butter, softened
- 1 cup (200g) brown sugar
- ½ cup (100g) white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups (360g) flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup (240g) dulce de leche
- 2 cups (240g) walnuts, chopped
Instructions:
1. Make the dough:
- In one bowl, mix butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla with a mixer.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt, and chopped walnuts. Mix until smooth.

2. Shape the cookies:
- To make cookies the same size, weigh each piece of dough on a kitchen scale.
- You can make more small cookies or fewer large ones.
- Flatten each piece, add 1 tsp dulce de leche in the center, seal, and roll into a ball.
- Arrange on a lined baking sheet.



3. Bake:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool 5 minutes on the tray, then transfer to a rack.
