How to Make Sprite Mojito
Prepare the Limes
- First, wash the limes very well since they will go directly into the drink.
- Next, slice the limes into wedges or thin rounds.
- Muddle the Lime
- Add the lime slices to a large pitcher.
- Then gently press them using a muddler or spoon to release the juice and oils from the peel.
- This step gives the mojito its fresh and vibrant flavor.
Prepare the Mint
- Next, lightly clap the mint between your hands before adding it to the pitcher.
- This helps release the natural mint oils and makes the aroma much stronger.
- After that, gently place the mint into the pitcher.
- Do not mash or over-muddle the mint, otherwise the drink can become bitter.
Add the Ice
- Then fill the pitcher almost completely with ice.
- For the best café-style presentation, use:
- crushed ice
- or
- nugget ice
- This makes the drink look extra refreshing and keeps it very cold.
- Pour in the Sprite
- Next, slowly pour the very cold Sprite over the ice, lime, and mint.
- Stir gently so the drink stays fizzy and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve
Finally, serve immediately in tall clear glasses with:
- extra lime slices
- fresh mint
- lots of ice
- metallic straws
For an even prettier presentation, you can also add:
- frozen strawberries
- strawberry syrup
- sugar rim
- fruit slices around the glass
For a beautiful presentation, dip the rim of the glass into corn syrup first, then coat it in sugar for a sparkling decorative finish.
