Time
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 15 minutes
- Servings: About 8 cups (2 liters)
Ingredients
- 2 liters water
- 3–4 tea bags (black tea for stronger flavor or green tea for lighter taste)
- 1 cup of orange or cranberry juice (or both)
- 1 orange, washed and sliced (half for brewing, half for serving)
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 2–3 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 2–3 Tbsp honey, or to taste
- Optional: 1–2 tsp fresh lemon juice for extra tartness
- Optional: additional honey or sugar, if you prefer a sweeter tea

Instructions
1. Prepare the base
Bring 2 liters of water to a boil.
2. Add aromatics
Add:
- ½ washed sliced orange
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 2–3 sprigs fresh rosemary
Simmer on low heat for 3–4 minutes to release the aromas.

3. Add the tea or favorite juice (orange or cranberry)
Remove from heat.
Add 3–4 tea bags and steep 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
Remove tea bags to prevent bitterness.
4. Sweeten
When the tea has slightly cooled, stir in 2–3 tablespoons honey.
Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness:
- Add more honey or sugar for a sweeter drink.
- Add 1–2 teaspoons lemon juice if you like extra brightness and acidity.

5. Serve
For hot tea: serve with orange slices and a sprig of rosemary.
For iced tea: allow the tea to cool fully, then add ice, extra cranberries, and orange slices.

Tips & Recommendations
Enhance the flavor
- Lightly crush some cranberries before simmering to boost color and tartness.
- Add a small cinnamon stick for a festive holiday twist.
- Use green tea if you prefer a more delicate flavor.
Serving & Presentation
- Use a teapot or pitcher with a built-in strainer to prevent fruit pieces from getting into the cup.
- Beautiful garnishes include:
- orange slices
- whole cranberries
- fresh rosemary sprigs
- For iced tea, fill the glasses with ice before pouring.
Storage
- Store leftover tea in a sealed glass jar or pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Stir before serving — honey may settle at the bottom.
- Do not store with tea bags inside (bitterness develops).
